A Montana Day Trip: Missoula to Polson

Yesterday was one for the record books in Big Sky Country. While it’s early March here in Montana’s Glacier Country, it was one of the most stunning days I’ve spent exploring in a long time. Because it was such a beautiful day, a girlfriend and I hit the road from Missoula to Polson. While this […]

5 Things I’m Loving in Missoula, Montana

Let’s all just take a moment to celebrate a few things: it’s been a fun winter, we’re starting to see glimpses of spring, the sun is shining and I’ve spent the entire week in one place: Missoula, Montana.

#PictureMontana + Celebrate America’s Best Idea: National Parks

For those of you keeping score, I’m sure that by now you know that I LOVE Montana. It’s just that this place that I call home has such a special spot in my heart and I can’t image loving anywhere quite as much as I love Montana’s big blue sky, dramatic temperatures, salt-of-the-earth residents and magical moments. It’s safe to say that I’m totally obsessed and love sharing my Montana with all of you!

A Little Mayhem in Montana

Every once in a while, you meet someone, instantly click and know that this person is someone special. Take, for example, my friend Kristin (also known as Camels + Chocolate). She and I met several years ago on twitter when she was planning a western road trip with her husband, SVV. I weighed in with where they should go and what they should do and pretty soon, Kirstin and I were in Missoula having burgers at the Mo Club. Four years later and Kristin is still one of my favorite people.

Eating My Way Through Montana’s Glacier Country

For the past few weeks, I’ve been out and about traveling around Western Montana and soaking in plenty of fall moments in Glacier Country. During my time on the road, I’ve been seeing stunning scenery and have been having lots of fun adventures. I’ve also been eating all the food everywhere. And I’ll tell you what, you guys…it’s been delicious.

Remembering to Soak up The Moments

Oh hey guys, I didn’t see you there. Mainly because I’ve been missing…from the blog. But I have to tell you, it wasn’t intentional. It’s just that I’ve been out living. A lot. The last two weeks of my life have been filled with road trips, huckleberry delights, laughs, solid human beings and my ever-steady […]

Crown Traverse: Follow the Journey in Montana and Alberta

Earlier this month, three explorers departed on a journey that would take them on a 600-mile-long run through the mountains of Montana and Alberta. Athletes Mike Foote and Mike Wolfe, along with photographer Steven Gnam departed from Missoula, Montana and will end their trip in Banff, Alberta on a journey called the Crown Traverse. Along the […]

5 Reasons to Visit Montana

Here’s the thing: there are so many places to visit in the United States (and the world) that sometimes it’s hard to pick a vacation destination. That’s where I come in. Please allow me to introduce you to my best girl: Montana.

A Montana Food Tour

You guys, if there are two things I love, they are Montana and food. I come by my love of both honestly. After all, when you grow up in Montana at the foot of the Rocky Mountains and when you have a grandpa who was constantly cooking in the backroom of my family’s general store and regularly asked if I wanted to “taste something good,” you’re bound to fall in love with both food and Big Sky Country. Sidenote: Much to my grandpa’s dismay, I didn’t think everything he made was as delicious as he did.
