Montana Bus Hunt: It’s On

This year, our friends at Montana Office of Tourism decided to go big or go home, placing stellar photos from Glacier National Park and Yellowstone National Park on buses throughout Chicago, Minneapolis and Seattle. And to that we say, BRAVO. Because when you’ve got scenery like Montana, it needs to be shared. To add to […]

Northwest Montana’s Tobacco Valley

Earlier this week, I grabbed my trusty boots, pinned up my crazy blond hair and headed to one of Northwest Montana’s loveliest locations: The Tobacco Valley.

Montana Tourism Love

This past week, tourism folks and partners gathered in Helena (our state’s capital) for the annual Governor’s Conference on Tourism and Recreation. If there’s one thing I can say about my colleagues, it’s that everyone in this industry has a passion for Montana, travel and tourism. ..which is awesome. We were able to spend two […]

Girlfriends + Missoula

Yesterday a group of girlfriends on a “Chick Trip” arrived in Missoula. And since I knew the lovely ladies, I joined them for the tail end of their trip. So what is there to do with a group of girlfriends in Missoula during the middle of March? Lots! First, we started with Ice Cream Pedicures […]

Get Winter While the Getting’s Good

While we’ve had a touch of snow this week, we’ve also had something else that’s pretty great…sunshine and warmer weather! Which is creating a beautiful backdrop for hitting the slopes and trails of Western Montana.

Last weekend, I loaded my car, pulled on my snowboots, wrapped a scarf around my head and headed north. My destination: The Canyon. The Canyon is the “Gateway to Glacier” and includes the communities of Columbia Falls, Hungry Horse, Coram, Martin City and West Glacier. Not only are these town small and charming, but they […]

Valentine’s Day

We all know it’s coming. Same day, every year. And it doesn’t really come quietly either – it comes with red and pink hearts, boxes of chocolates, jewelry commercials, red roses and of course, lots of love, hugs and kisses. To which I say, heck yes. Because love (whether in the form of one great […]

Looking Back at 2010

Well, it’s hard to believe that 2010 is almost to a close. This year was a busy one at Glacier Country Tourism that kept us hopping, exploring, playing and promoting Western Montana.

If you’re anything like me, you like to know what type of weather to expect when you’re gearing up to play or work in Montana’s great outdoors. From my office, I can look out the window and see exactly what the weather has in store for me. But one of the tricky things about Western […]
