Tucked along the Clark Fork Corridor on the Flathead Indian Reservation, the small town of Hot Springs has welcomed visitors to its mineral waters for generations. About an hour from both Missoula and Kalispell, this eclectic community is known for its geothermal pools, rich history and welcoming small-town character. Long considered “big medicine” by the Pend d’Oreille people, the area’s naturally heated mineral waters continue to draw visitors seeking relaxation and renewal.

SOAK IN THE MINERAL WATERS
A visit to Hot Springs isn’t complete without a soak at the historic Symes Hot Springs Hotel & Mineral Baths. A longtime community landmark, the property features naturally heated mineral pools, a historic hotel, rustic cabins, dining, local beer and wine, an espresso bar ands a classic Montana hot springs experience.

ENJOY LOCAL FLAVOR
Camas Organic Market & Bakery is a favorite gathering place for both locals and visitors. Stop in for breakfast or lunch, browse the organic market or choose from an ever-changing selection of baked goods, including gluten-free options. Seasonal pastries and house-made treats make it a worthwhile stop while exploring town.

DISCOVER LOCAL HISTORY
Learn more about the area’s past at the LaRue-Hot Springs Museum, where exhibits highlight the lives of early settlers and the history of the Indigenous peoples who have called this region home for generations. Historic photographs and artifacts provide insight into the community’s development and cultural heritage. Because museum hours vary seasonally, it’s a good idea to check availability before your visit.

Please note: We ask that all our visitors and residents recreate responsibly by being mindful of the following: know before you go; plan ahead; play it safe; leave no trace; tread lightly; and help build an inclusive outdoors.
